The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Continuum of Care (CoC) announces a new member to its CoC Governing Board. Kim Ciepcielinski will serve in the Prevention Provider Elected Seat. We are excited to have Kim on the Board and look forward to her knowledge and expertise. Please see below more information about this new Governing Board member.
Elected Seat: Prevention
Kim Ciepcielinski is the Manager of Community Partnerships at Crisis Assistance Ministry, where she has worked for 16 years. During that time, she has served in several roles. Currently, she manages the agency’s relationships with other service providers in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Her ultimate goal is to enhance access to services that prevent homelessness by supporting families striving to achieve financial stability and economic mobility.
Kim oversees the Partner Agency Network, a formalized partnership of dozens of agencies in Mecklenburg County that provide basic needs via remote access to the agency. She serves as the bridge between external agencies and Crisis Assistance Ministry, ensuring that frontline workers can provide the most helpful support, information, and referrals to families in crisis.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Kim graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications and has lived in Charlotte for the past 30 years. Throughout her life, she has worked to improve the lives of others around the world. She has volunteered in Jamaica, El Salvador, Romania, and in a variety of roles right here at home including as a church coordinator with Room In The Inn for ten years.
When she’s not working, Kim enjoys walking, hiking, Mahjong, and her (soon-to-be) eight grandchildren.
