OVERVIEW OF MEASURE

This measure provides the average and median length of stay that people experience homelessness. The first measure looks at the average and median length of stay in emergency shelter. The second measures explores that average and median length of time people experience homelessness for the population exiting emergency shelter into permanent housing. It includes any period of homelessness experienced prior to entry into an emergency shelter.
